NRS Ricochet MVNZ jumping in the Olympic Cup at Defender Horse of the Year 2025

We couldn’t be prouder of NRS Ricochet MVNZ after his incredible debut in the Olympic Cup at the 2025 Defender Horse of the Year Show.

Expertly piloted by Oliver Croucher, Rico rose to the challenge of the 1.50m Olympic Cup, delivering a strong and composed round to finish 5th in a field of 18 of New Zealand’s top combinations. This result is especially meaningful given he only recently stepped up to these heights.

Earlier in the week at HOY, Rico also placed 6th in the Silver Fern Stakes (1.45m), rounding out a week of impressive performances. We’re thrilled to see him coming into his own and can’t wait to see what’s next for this special horse.
